It’s today. I’m heading to the conference today. And the presentation is on Thursday. Oh god.
I can’t believe how much time it took to organise the slides for my presentation. I spent days doing it! I’ve never done this sort of thing before so I’ve learnt how to use Open Office Impress from scratch. I also spent ages scanning in pics and accumulating photos from the internet. I’ve been a terrible academic – I haven’t credited sources on my slides. No time!

When this is all done, I’m going to turn it into a Youtube movie (with all the rude bits cut out). I’ll also finally update my article on the history of porn for women. I think I’ll also film a few things while I’m down there, do a little mini doco on the experience.
In any case, I’ll be away for another four days. I’m to the point that I’m desperate to get back to work and start juggling all my website duties again. So much to be done, so little time!
And the new member’s area is almost done… so close! We need to manually tweak all the content inside before it goes live so there’s a mountain of work waiting for me when I get back home.
