I got a bit of a surprise when I visited Good For Her and discovered that they’ve moved the date for the feminist porn awards forward by two months. Which is why I haven’t mentioned anything about this year’s awards before this. Unfortunately my friend Chanelle Gallant has left the store so I’m a bit out of the loop now.
Anyway, the 2008 Feminist Porn Awards will be announced on Friday April 4th. The show will feature appearances by Erika Lust, Estelle Joseph, Morty Diamond, Loree Erickson and Bren Ryder. The night will be hosted by Trey Anthony and will also include performances by dance troupe Daddy K and the Rhythm Method, Coco la Creme and Dainty Box.

I was wondering if I could make it to Toronto for this year’s event, but now that it’s 3 weeks away that’s obviously not going to happen. Maybe next year I’ll be there.
