Rachel Kramer Bussel has an opinion piece in the Huffington Post looking at that alleged comedy book called Porn for Women and asks if “porn for women” is a legitimate concept.
She also asks whether a man doing housework is stroke material. I would say yes, but only if he’s naked (in which case, the book in question doesn’t make the grade). In the past I’ve made two free sites featuring naked guys doing housework – Domesticated Men and Do My Laundry, Lover and I thought the pics were quite cute. The latter combines “the raw enjoyment of perving on naked men, with the sheer pleasure of watching a guy do the laundry.” It’s a bit of fun, that’s all. I must admit I’d never pondered the serious and far-reaching feminist implications behind these sites.

I do know that a guy who does housework is definitely preferable to one who doesn’t. I know this because I don’t do very much housework myself – my husband does most of it. Did I mention how much I love him?
I made a comment at the bottom of Rachel’s article about how I define porn for women. It’s this:
Porn is for women when it does 3 things:
1. It acknowledges that the audience is female and is aimed specifically at women, gay or straight
2. It depicts a woman’s point of view and a woman’s experience of sex.
3. It gives primacy to female pleasure.
Whether there’s housework involved is probably a moot point.
Rachel also mentions For The Girls in the course of her musings and I’ll say again that it’s nice to be included in articles that discuss women’s erotica.
I do a lot of cooking, laundry, and housework, and I can’t say that it’s done anything for my love life.
