In December 2005 I posted about Innocent Pictures and the Puzzy Power manifesto. This European company, part of Lars Von Trier’s Zentropa Productions, have made three adult films specifically for women.
All About Anna is the third film. It tells the story of a woman trying to maintain an active sex life while steering clear of relationships. Naturally this leads to numerous explicit sex scenes. According to the blurb on their site:

“All About Anna†is an attempt to create a new type of erotic film, based on real life rather than on the wish-fulfilling fantasies that characterize traditional sex movies. It portrays a type of woman with whom we all are familiar, fighting with problems most women know all too well.
AVN tells me that All About Anna has just received several awards at the Erotic World Fair in Copenhagen. The film won Best Scandinavian Couples Film, Best Scandinavian Actor (Thomas Raft), and Best Selling Scandinavian Star of 2006 (Gry Bay). Filmmaker Jessica Nilsson also received a Best Director nomination.
The film has also secured distribution in North America through Wicked Pictures for “late spring” which would seem to suggest it will be released in May.
