Great New Websites

This site started life as a linklist – and it still is, of course, although I pay more attention to the blog at the moment. In the last month I’ve added some new and exciting sites to the list and I thought I should write about them here as well.

Gentleman Handling
I met Gala Vanting in April this year at Tristan Taormino’s lecture. She’s a smart and creative director and adult star who has – with a partner – created this homage to male beauty. It features solo guys and male-male scenes, shot with a distinct indie sensibility. Their site says: “GentlemanHandling attempts to strip the image of male sexual pleasure from its less-than-savoury pornographic contexts and situate it in a style of imagemaking that is honest, attentive, and reverent.” They want to “present our contributors in a manner that highlights their human-ness, their individual sexual style. Self-pleasure is a deeply personal thing and is often glossed over or neglected in mainstream sexual media.” I’m always happy to see more naked men!

Wolf Hudson Is Bad
In Berlin last year I met the lovely Aiden Starr and she told me she was working on a site with gay/straight crossover star Wolf Hudson. So I was thrilled when it finally launched last month. The site is a step away from the usual straight mainstream porn; for a start, Wolf is the star, not a woman. He’s not your typical beefy bloke, either. He’s relatively thin and has his own unique look. Most of the scenes are straight (so far) although there’s a threesome with The Mayhems and several solo masturbation scenes as well. There’s even a bit of autofellatio, just to spice things up. Wolf also does live shows occasionally. The scenes do have a certain “porny” look to them but if that’s what you like, you’ll love this site.

Lust Cinema
Erika Lust has given her site a makeover and turned it into a membership site, Now you can watch every one of her award-winning films online. She’s also added titles by Tristan Taormino, Maria Beatty and several European directors. There’s photos and a blog as well. The whole thing looks fabulous.
