Ten years ago in response to the idea of Steak and a Blowjob Day I proposed the idea of a female-focused equivalent<\/a> on this blog and then set up a small site with tips, articles, a list of slang and other fun stuff. Plus porn, because that’s what I do.<\/p>\n

It was just a bit of frivolity and I hoped the idea would take off. I’ve since seen it mentioned in news articles here and there along with a few mentions on Twitter and Facebook. Unfortunately, I’ve also discovered a group of people who claim that it was their idea, who stole my original logo and who now claim that their html page is the “official one”. Needless to say, those people piss me off and are a bunch of unscrupulous thieves (read more about the ripoff here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

But gripes aside, hooray for ten years of Cake and Cunnilingus Day. When I started the site I had a link to “erotic cakes” which were mainly penis and nude women cakes. I’m happy that now vulva\/vagina cupcakes are everywhere and there’s an eagerness to speak more openly about the taboo of cunts and cunnilingus.<\/p>\n

Of course, it’s not all tongues and cakepops. A recent study has found that young people consider cunnilingus to be more of a “big deal” than fellatio and that women often feel nervous about enjoying it due to prevailing cultural attitudes about vulvas.
