\"feministpornawards\"The 2015 Feminist Porn Award nominations have been announced today<\/a>. This is the tenth year of the awards, run by Toronto sex toy store Good For Her<\/a>. They aim to encourage alternative and feminist visions of pornography.<\/p>\n

This year saw the introduction of a public jury and the announcement has been a bit later than usual (the award night is April 17). The press release lists a variety of judging criteria including the quality of filmmaking, inclusiveness and diversity, hotness and an indescribable “it factor”.<\/p>\n

I’ve seen a few of the nominees and I’ve got to say it’s an impressive field. I think it shows just how far the alternative feminist porn movement has come in a short time.<\/p>\n
