I&#8217;m pleased to say that they&#8217;ve given the ad the thumbs up.<\/p>\n<p>The Sydney Morning Herald<a href=\"http:\/\/www.smh.com.au\/news\/tv--radio\/cold-shoulder-for-aliens-but-pole-dancer-stays\/2007\/06\/26\/1182623906748.html\" target=\"blank\"> reports:<br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The board of the Advertising Standards Bureau agreed, ruling that pole dancing was &#8221; \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 a popular form of exercise&#8221; and &#8220;was not incompatible with family values&#8221;. The ad &#8220;depicted a strong in-control woman who went about her work in a professional manner&#8221;, because it showed her travelling to work wearing a suit, the board concluded, while the ad had not broken any rules regarding permissible levels of nudity.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>There you go. Pole dancing is not incompatible with family values.
