It was a triumph of pure entertainment over plastic, over-marketed pop, and I was pleased.<\/p>\n<p>This year it seemed that fluid sexuality was a theme. The over-the-top drag antics of Ukraine came second, and the bisexual, camp glitter of Sweden&#8217;s entry was very enjoyable. The winner, Serbia&#8217;s Marija Serifovic, performed what seemed to be a lesbian love song called &#8220;Prayer of Love&#8221;, complete with meaningful hand-clasping and butch suits.
