They’ve concluded that there is no significant different in the time it takes for either gender to become fully aroused.<\/p>\n
According to their press release<\/a>, a selection of young men and women were shown gender-specific porn movies, along with control images such as Canadian tourism ads and Mr Bean episodes.<\/p>\n The thermal imaging devices – the same technology used in night-vision goggles – were able to measure heat levels in the genitals and thus measure increases in arousal. This method is preferable to previous measuring devices which usually involved direct contact with the genitals.<\/p>\n Both the men and the women began showing arousal within 30 seconds.
