I thought I’d add a blog post on behalf of all the thirty-something women who are feeling a little bit sad right now. In our teens, Patrick embodied an ideal of manhood that was very appealing. His role as Johnny Castle in Dirty Dancing was certainly romantic… but it was something else too.
