Back On Deck

OK. In theory I’m back at work. Physically, I’m at my trusty PC, knuckling down and getting back into the porny swing of things.

But really, I just couldn’t be arsed right now. I’ve had a lovely three weeks without having to think about sex – unless I was having it. I can’t tell you how really pleasant that was. I’m seriously unmotivated and feeling the urge to just run away.

It’s summer now, you see, and the cricket is on the telly. I went and swam laps at the pool for the first time this season. Our wine rack is chock a block with wine, there’s cheap mangoes at the supermarket and Christmas parties are rampant. I want to kick back.

Of course, for most of you reading this, it’s cold, and you’re probably eager for some porn surfing. I haven’t given you any decent porn news while I’ve been away, and I’m sure you’re desperate for it.

So… I went surfing a few fave blogs and sex news sites and here’s my roundup of what I missed:

* Comstock Films are very close to releasing their latest offering, Matt and Khym, which I’m looking forward to reviewing. Tony Comstock was also extensively quoted by a Time columnist, but the guy didn’t attribute the quote or provide any source, which is at best very rude and at worst bordering on plagiarism.

* Audacia Ray has uploaded the trailer for her bisexual porn film and it all looks rather fabulous, I must say. She’s also nearly finished her book, Naked on the Internet. Audacia interviewed me for it and I’m hoping I made the cut.

* Elle has revamped her Wilful Damage blog and took some nice pics at the Melbourne Sexpo.

* Thanks to Viviane’s Sex Carnival for pointing out this Guardian article about the sexiness of the new James Bond, Daniel Craig. Apparently the film really focuses on Craig as a sex object.

Frustratingly, the article assumes that it’s all for the benefit of other men. Argh. Why can’t people understand that perhaps women might enjoy perving on James Bond?

* Seems that George Bush appointed a rampant anti-birth control advocate to the top family planning position. So the insanity doesn’t seem to have diminished much after the recent US elections.

There’s other news… but to hell with it. I’m back. Hopefully I’ll be more interesting tomorrow.
