XBiz reports that sex columnist and ass-afficionado Tristan Taormino has launched her own adult film production company Smart Ass Productions.
Tristan’s previous forays into porn movies are The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women 1 and 2. both of which were based on her book of the same name.

Being the queen of all things anal we can probably assume that Tristan’s movies will have a fair bit of anal sex content. On top of that, I think we can expect that the films created by Smart Ass Productions will be female friendly. They certainly won’t fall into the Candida Royalle/romantic category of porn for women given that Tristan is a fan of gonzo and hardcore, but they will undoubtedly exhibit “feminine sensibilities” as it were.
If nothing else, she knows that her audience contains women, which is more than can be said for most film producers.
“Plenty of men and women tell me that they love all-sex and gonzo videos, but could do without some of the elements of the most popular titles in those genres,†Tristan told Xbiz. “Plus, they’re tired of seeing videos where the women either don’t come or their orgasms are clearly fake.â€
The article says that Tristan’s films will focus on “fresh and accessible performers, hot and spontaneous sex, real chemistry and real orgasms” with “no outrageous stunts, no degredation.”
